Walk a Mile Cards provide a way to create connections between people with different life experiences. Each edition is oriented around a given condition, and each card presents a true-to-life scenario written by someone affected by that condition. These people are offering you an opportunity to walk in their shoes and gain a sense of their experience.
We hope these cards will fuel meaningful conversations and challenge perspectives and perceptions. When you try these cards, we encourage you to stretch yourself and walk out the entire exercise. And be sure to talk openly about your feelings when you are done. That is when true empathy and understanding sets in.
